• Review of "Old Parliament House" at Parkes

  A short walk from the current Parliament House and a must see attraction in Canberra if you have never visited. The place tells a lot of stories. Helpful and very friendly volunteer staffs runs and maintains the place. The guide tours are wonderful and educational.

  A great collection of portraits each with a brief story about the subject. Only downside is that the subjects aren't representative of Australia, rather there is a strong focus on the rich and famous and on artists. Where are the tradesmen that built the country, the farmers that fed them and the nurses that cared for them?
